The Nedre Dalälven region includes southern Dalarna, north-western Västmanland, northern Uppland and southern Gästrikland. The river flows through the middle of this region.

The area is easy to reach and strategically located – just an hour from Arlanda airport.

Open, inviting countryside surrounded by miles and miles of woods for hiking, berry and mushroom-picking, skiing, hunting and more.

Red-painted farming villages dating back a thousand years. 17th-century industrial environments of a national class. Small-town idylls that are hundreds of years old.
