Färnebofjärdens FCA

Färnebofjärden is a nationally unique bay area in the
Färnebofjärden National Park between the unrestricted Tyttbo and Gysinge rapids
areas.
The area is about 20 km, covering some 5,000 hectares of water,
over 100 islands and many capes and peninsulas. Nearly free from development,
this area contains rich wildlife.
Most of the Nedre Dalälven fish are found here, mainly pike,
pike-perch and perch.
Fishing is best by boat. Ideal starting points are Östa Stugby,
Färnebofjärdens Camping and Tyttbo, where you can also rent boats.
