The Dalarna Indian museum doesn’t perpetuate the Hollywood stereotypes. You’ll see real Indians in around 200 black-and-white photos dating from 1850–1920, some of which have never been shown before.
The images are accompanied by descriptive texts and some 70 artefacts, from everyday household implements to ceremonial tools.
We also show about 30 objects from the Australian Aborigines. Indian handicrafts for sale, bicycles and canoes for rent.
