Hedesunda Camping

Hedesunda Camping, close to Hedesunda village, creates an atmosphere of a wonderfully landscaped park. It is a quiet camping ground, located remarkably beautiful on a lakeside, with its own jetties and sandy beach, known as 'Sandnäsbadet', an ideal destination, to go swimming, fishing, canoeing, or just to relax in.

Wooden cottages

On the camping area are 4 beautiful wooden cottages build in the Swedish traditional style out of robust wooden logs. These cottages are cosy and comfortable and suitable for 4-6 persons. The cottages have separate bedrooms and an additional loft, a bathroom and a fitted kitchen and living room. The cottages are fully equipped with a shower, toilet, colour TV, full size cooker and fridge, fireplace and sofa bed. In front of the cottage you’ll find a nice furnished terrace where you can spend many lovely evenings. Bed linen compulsory

Simple cabins

These cabins are suitable for 2 till 4 persons. Each cottage contains 2 bunk beds, a cooker, table-ware and cutlery, a refrigerator, electric heater and a table with 4 chairs. In front of the cottage you’ll find a furnished terrace. Bed linen compulsory

Boats and licences

We have different fishing boats for rental:

Linder 400HP - 9,9 Hp 4-stroke

Linder 440 - 4 Hp 4-stroke

The Linder 400 can also be equipped with a sonar or an electromotor. At the camping’s reception you can buy a fishing licence till Hedesunda/Bramsöfjärden as well as fishing equipment and maps.

Directions

The campsite is situated 140 kilometres north of Stockholm and 45 kilometres south of Gävle. The island Ön is connected to the mainland on two sides by a bridge.

From Gävle take the main road 56, in the direction of Hedesunda. Then you follow the signs Camping and 'Sandnäsbadet'.
